WiseStar

Got a new mobile and a new Game…and amazed by it completely.

Basically a shape is displayed rectangle with different corners cut. There a different shape in each square. The shapes look like planets, galaxies etc. You have to move these shapes around. When the same shapes 3 or more comes in line, they blast off leaving the background of those shapes in Blue color.

When the complete shape is covered in Blue color, you get to go to the next level.

Most interestingly, if you reach a stage where No more permutation is possible, ALL the shapes with Blue background blast off and new shapes appear at that place.
And you get whole new things to start with the game ahead J

So if your game starts stalling. You cannot find any combinations to mark the remaining squares with Blue background, just exhaust the remaining possible combinations and well you will certain to find a whole new beginning!

Wish it was that simple with life!!

Unexpected Vs Expected

One of the Mom’s mandir friends, she was all excited. Her son’s marriage was fixed. She went to Surat to invite her relatives for marriage.
And the same day, her husband, got a heart attack while walking on the road. Dead on the spot!!
I can not even imagine what would be state of the house now. Everyone would have been excited, and now, in a moment, it all doesn’t matter anymore. It’s like a sudden eclipse.

It would be so difficult to digest!

Just makes me wonder, if things happen unexpectedly would that wound hurt more?

Sometimes, when you know something is going to happen, the mind would keep going into future. Will keep showing you the flash of the future. After seeing that, the mind will vehemently deny that image. It would tell you it’s impossible. It’s not going to happen at all. Something miraculous will happen and the expected would be avoided. Surely, something will happen. And yet at the back of your mind you know that this is exactly what is going to happen. That repeated image doesn’t stop the blow, nor does it make the wound any less hurtful or any smaller. But some how because u know it is going to happen u r prepared for that wound. Somehow it heals a little faster.
Or does it really? Probably not. Cause you have faced the pain even before u got that wound. And probably due to that the reduction in the healing time later.

So what is preferred? Expected wound or the unexpected one?
Need to say Thank god to life that it doesn’t give a choice. Jo hona hai so to hona hai. But choosing in these two ways would be impossible!

When there is something that happens expectedly, not only u will be prepared but somewhere you will try to live all the remaining moments fully. However, you have to bear the pain of feeling the pain even before the wound. That’s tough.
And something happening unexpectedly, things suddenly change and it’s a big blow. But u don’t have to go through all the pain, and feeling guilty of seeing the future all the time when u don’t want to see it.

Strangely, in the today’s world shouldn’t we be really always be prepared for the unexpected. I guess the simple solution is just live all the moments to the fullest!
Probably, the toughest task to perform by breaking out the monotonous routine.
Well but deserves a chance for sure!

Miracle

One interesting scene in Harry Potter: Prisoner or Azkaban.

I am a complete fan of this series. I actually read the third one first. i.e. the Prisoner of Azkaban. That too just to check what is all hype about Harry Potter thing. And then after this book ended up, started reading all earlier parts voraciously. And kept waiting for newer ones, picked it up in first week of release and finished it in next. Amazing imagination!! Hat’s of to J K Rowling.

Well that was a tad out of the topic. Back to the topic, Miracle!

In this book Prisoner of Azkaban there is one scene. I am not sure how to explain this complicated scene to non Harry guys. Let me try.

There Harry and his uncle are in a very big danger near a lake. The Dementors (let’s just say villains) would kill them in a minute. Someone from the other shore of the lake creates some magical animal and they get saved. And Harry gets to see a glimpse of his savoir. He is looking like Harry. Harry thinks that savior was his Father. His father, who is dead. Harry thinks somehow he has came back to save him.

And just before that magical animal was cast, on the other shore of the lake Harry is waiting. (Yes that’s correct, Harry is waiting. He has a time turner, so he has turned the time after the lake incident, and has came back on other side of the shore and now at two places! J I tell you if you like imagination you should read this series) He is waiting, with batted breath. He is going to see is father. Anytime now… Now… any time now! He is waiting, no one comes.
In some small fraction of second, he just comes out from behind the tree he was hiding, and casts the spell erupting a magical animal.
In that fraction of the second he has realized that, when he was waiting someone to save him, when he thought he saw image of his father, it was HE HIMSELF!

Miraculous isn’t it!

Ha, I know this can not happen in real world. Oops I mean with us Muggles (Non magical people) :D

But the point is things would start falling in place when we will come to that point of realization like Harry, That ONLY You could save yourself and not anyone else.

Out of Context

How important is the context?

A small incident that I had read somewhere…
One guy, asks the receptionist of the Hotel, as to how far is the Airport.

Courteously, the receptionist asks, “We have a bus going to Airport, in the evening, Sir…. It will start at xyz time …. Since, there are no flights before that, Sir”. In between, the guy tried to ask her, as to how Long Will It Take him To Reach the Airport?

The guy standing by answers “it’s about 80 kms, if u got a car, would not take u longer than a couple of hours.” The guy said “Thank You.”. He rushed out, and reached the Airport, for whatever work he had.

All that he needed is, how much time he will take to reach and wanted to confirm if he can reach on time for whatever work he had. As simple as that.
But the over courteous Receptionist, who is been grilled into being at most help to the customer, completely irritated this guy. Since, she was answering out of context. She was not answering His Questions, she was twisting His Question and according to the Answer she had to Offer!

How many times do u find ur self doing something similar? You have few things on the mind to be told to someone. And, you make sure it reaches to that person when the conversation stars, Out of Context! J
Check, Check… Check… U may be irritating the other person, even if the guy just may be being just nice not to show it.

What exactly made me think of this?
Assume that, you have a major deadline coming in next 2 days. Client calls in to make sure everything is in order and while taking status he starts telling you how u should built in a safety feature. Asking how a certain thing is coded. Dude, even if u got a brilliant idea, can it be implemented NOW!? Two days before the deadline? We will talk about it when it makes more sense! Wont u feel that? I felt something similar J
Well… just been so Out Of Context!

Peeking in the Future

Sometimes when the Book becomes too unbearably suspenseful, I simply turn few next pages and randomly read few statements. Just gives a feel of what’s going to happen next. J

Wish same facility would be available with the LIFE
