Unexpected Vs Expected

One of the Mom’s mandir friends, she was all excited. Her son’s marriage was fixed. She went to Surat to invite her relatives for marriage.
And the same day, her husband, got a heart attack while walking on the road. Dead on the spot!!
I can not even imagine what would be state of the house now. Everyone would have been excited, and now, in a moment, it all doesn’t matter anymore. It’s like a sudden eclipse.

It would be so difficult to digest!

Just makes me wonder, if things happen unexpectedly would that wound hurt more?

Sometimes, when you know something is going to happen, the mind would keep going into future. Will keep showing you the flash of the future. After seeing that, the mind will vehemently deny that image. It would tell you it’s impossible. It’s not going to happen at all. Something miraculous will happen and the expected would be avoided. Surely, something will happen. And yet at the back of your mind you know that this is exactly what is going to happen. That repeated image doesn’t stop the blow, nor does it make the wound any less hurtful or any smaller. But some how because u know it is going to happen u r prepared for that wound. Somehow it heals a little faster.
Or does it really? Probably not. Cause you have faced the pain even before u got that wound. And probably due to that the reduction in the healing time later.

So what is preferred? Expected wound or the unexpected one?
Need to say Thank god to life that it doesn’t give a choice. Jo hona hai so to hona hai. But choosing in these two ways would be impossible!

When there is something that happens expectedly, not only u will be prepared but somewhere you will try to live all the remaining moments fully. However, you have to bear the pain of feeling the pain even before the wound. That’s tough.
And something happening unexpectedly, things suddenly change and it’s a big blow. But u don’t have to go through all the pain, and feeling guilty of seeing the future all the time when u don’t want to see it.

Strangely, in the today’s world shouldn’t we be really always be prepared for the unexpected. I guess the simple solution is just live all the moments to the fullest!
Probably, the toughest task to perform by breaking out the monotonous routine.
Well but deserves a chance for sure!

  1. Unexpected disaster is better than something which is expected!!

The anxiety/wonder/ the expectations of disaster happening is more stressful than the 'real' painful moments when it actually happens!

In case we are anxious and fearing of the probability of its occurrence and when it doesn’t happen what a waste of energy!!

Unexpected disasters make us cope better with it... We tend to get practical then...
